And now he’s Dancing with the Stars
Buzz Aldrin, second man on the moon and member of the Gemini 12 and Apollo 11 missions, will appear on the popular reality show “Dancing with the Stars,” where contestants are challenged to perform different dances each week, like paso doble and swing. The 80-year-old retired astronaut will be the show’s oldest contestant.

Theme weddings usually come with a hefty price tag, and the wedding of Noah Fulmor and Erin Finnegan was no different. Their 20 June 2009 wedding cost $60,000 in rental space alone. But Fulmor and Finnegan married on the modified Boeing 727-200 aircraft flown by the Zero Gravity Corporation, exchanging vows while making history. “It’s amazing how resourceful you can be when you put your mind to it,” said Fulmor on the Today Show.

A matter of privacy
We never hear about it, but when the wagon trains were working their way West, the folks must have had to find some way to, well, take care of their bodily functions. The men, of course, because of their somewhat different physiques, might not have had much trouble taking care of business, but for the women it was a different story. Crossing the vast plains of what is now Texas, Kansas, Nebraska, and then the great deserts of the West with nary a tree or bush in sight must have caused some concern. But we never hear about it, so those hardy folk must have found some way to preserve their dignity and their privacy.
